Henry Ikoh Urges APC Loyalty in Abia State

Henry Ikoh called on All Progressives Congress supporters in Abia State to prioritize party loyalty over personal grievances to secure a 2027 election victory.

Former minister Henry Ikoh urged his supporters in Abia State to mobilize for the 2027 victory of President Bola Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress candidates. Speaking at a thank-you meeting in Umuahia, Ikoh acknowledged the disappointment of followers after Chief Eric Opah emerged as the party's governorship candidate, characterizing the primary process as a "selection instead of election."

Despite these grievances, Ikoh called for party loyalty over personal ambition to ensure the APC takes over Abia State. He defended the economic reforms of the Tinubu administration, asserting that the naira has stabilized.

APC State Organising Secretary Emeka Okoroafor praised Ikoh's loyalty while criticizing other party leaders for allegedly playing "double games" against the party's candidates. Paul Uzuegbu, State Coordinator of the Ozurumba Movement, pledged the group's continued loyalty to the party.
