APC Names Revised Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 Bid

The All Progressives Congress released a revised list of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council on October 13, 2026. The council is scheduled for formal inauguration on October 14 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The updated council includes several high-profile appointments to coordinate regional efforts. Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike will coordinate the campaign in Rivers State and the FCT, while Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke will serve as the Osun State Campaign Coordinator. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq were named Deputy Vice Chairmen.

Other key roles include PDP Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo as an adviser and Abdulaziz Yari, who retains his position as Director-General. APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka stated that the inauguration would mark a major step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
