Natalie Harp Screens Donald Trump's Personal Phone Calls

Executive assistant Natalie Harp has begun screening President Donald Trump's personal mobile phone calls and curating his news intake following midterm election losses.

Executive assistant Natalie Harp has taken control of President Donald Trump's personal mobile phone to screen incoming calls, marking a significant shift from the president's history of answering his own phone. Journalists from Politico, NewsNation, and other outlets reported being intercepted by Harp, who requires callers to identify themselves before deciding whether to connect them to the president.

This change in communication coincided with the November 3 midterm elections, in which Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress. Reports indicate that Harp is attempting to prevent uncomfortable conversations with the press during this period of low approval ratings and electoral rebuke. While some reporters have been connected to Trump, others report being blocked entirely.

Beyond phone screening, Harp has expanded her role as a gatekeeper for the president's information. Known as the human printer, she reportedly provides Trump with flattering news coverage and manages his Truth Social posts. Harp has also influenced the decision to bar CNN, MSNOW, and Politico from the White House in September and facilitated connections between the president and activist Laura Loomer. To maintain this level of control, Harp has moved her workspace into the president's private dining room.
