Donald Trump Investment Team Buys Meta, Microsoft, and Netflix

Donald Trump's investment team executed three separate purchases of more than $1 million each in Meta Platforms, Microsoft, and Netflix during August.

The largest of these investments was in Meta Platforms, which occurred while the stock was trading near its year-to-date lows. The team also invested in Microsoft during a period of strong momentum for the company's enterprise software and Azure cloud computing sectors.

The final purchase was in Netflix, which took place while the streaming service faced a significant decline. Netflix stock has dropped approximately 25% in 2026 and more than 40% over the past year.
