Bola Tinubu Launches Campaign Tour in Akwa Ibom and Rivers

President Bola Tinubu will conduct a two-state campaign tour of Akwa Ibom and Rivers states starting November 6, 2026, as part of his re-election bid for the 2027 polls. The tour follows the launch of his campaign in Kaduna last month and represents his third major rally.

In Uyo, Akwa Ibom, the president will commission several infrastructure projects, including the International Terminal Building and International Airport Hospital at the Victor Attah International Airport, along with the Airport-Okopedi Road and Ring Road 3. To facilitate the reception, Governor Umo Eno has declared Friday a work-free day.

Following the events in Uyo, the president will travel to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday to attend an All Progressives Congress rally. The tour is designed to engage political stakeholders while emphasizing national unity and stability.
