Donald Trump Threatens Iranian Infrastructure to Force Diplomatic Deal
President Donald Trump threatened to destroy Iranian bridges, power plants, and nuclear sites if Iran does not reach a diplomatic agreement with the United States.
President Donald Trump threatened to destroy Iranian bridges, power plants, and the Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site to compel Iran to reach a diplomatic deal with the United States. In a phone interview with Fox News, Trump stated that targeting bridges would be very easy and could be accomplished in less than an hour.
Trump noted that power plants are among the most difficult structures to rebuild, though he specified he would avoid attacking desalination plants to prevent harming the civilian population. He asserted that the United States is already monitoring the situation and dismissed the necessity of receiving intelligence from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Iran's nuclear program ahead of their scheduled meeting at the White House.
