Mansfield Oil Sues Syed Kazmi Over $4 Million Fuel Theft

Mansfield Oil Company of Gainesville, Inc. filed a federal lawsuit against Syed Kazmi and his company, KRSM Inc., alleging the theft of approximately 1.12 million gallons of gasoline. The Georgia-based supplier claims it is owed nearly $4 million for fuel taken from a terminal in Aston, Pennsylvania, between May 21 and July 7, 2026.

The lawsuit asserts that KRSM used the unpaid fuel to supply the Freedom Fuel Network, allowing the chain to offer artificially low prices of $3.47 per gallon. These prices garnered national publicity after President Donald Trump praised the network on Truth Social, stating the retailer was stepping up because they loved the United States. The White House has since denied any contact or dealings with Kazmi or KRSM.

Syed Kazmi and his attorney, Mauro Tucci, deny the allegations, characterizing the matter as an accounting dispute involving misplaced or mispriced invoices. However, the complaint notes that Kazmi and his brother, Shamikh Kazmi, have a history of fuel-related legal disputes, including a prior order to pay over $600,000 for stealing gas. A district judge has issued a preliminary injunction requiring Kazmi and KRSM to maintain at least $2.75 million in a bank account pending the outcome of the litigation.
