Israeli Strikes Kill Palestinians Across Gaza Strip

The Israel Defense Forces killed multiple Palestinians through drone strikes, artillery, and gunfire across the Gaza Strip between September 21 and September 23, 2026. In Gaza City, a combat drone strike in the Tuffah neighborhood near the Muscat school killed two people and injured three others, including a child. Other operations included a drone strike in Jabalia and naval fire directed at the Shati refugee camp.

In Khan Younis and the al-Mawasi area near Rafah, Israeli tanks and artillery opened fire on tents sheltering displaced families, resulting in the death of an 11-year-old child. In central Gaza, forces shot a 31-year-old woman on Salah al-Din street east of the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since a US-backed ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have killed 1,399 Palestinians.

These military actions continue as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly rejected a US-proposed disarmament deal that Hamas had agreed to. The Israeli military stated it is investigating reports of civilian casualties. Total casualties since October 7, 2023, are cited by health officials as 73,914 killed and 174,952 wounded.
