Rahul Gandhi Critiques Education System Amid BJP Hypocrisy Claims

Rahul Gandhi used an Instagram Q&A to critique India's education system, sparking accusations of hypocrisy from the BJP and a response from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi launched an Instagram 'Ask Me Anything' session on Thursday to engage Gen Z voters. During the session, Gandhi claimed India's education system has collapsed, describing it as unaffordable and oppressive. He specifically accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh of capturing the system to prevent young Indians from thinking for themselves. Gandhi also expressed support for students protesting recruitment examination irregularities in Jharkhand and named BJP member Amarinder Singh as his favorite leader from the opposing party.

Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao responded by accusing Gandhi and the INDIA alliance of hypocrisy. Rao claimed Gandhi only supported the Jharkhand students after facing political pressure and labeled the Congress Party as anti-youth, citing a lack of similar support for students in Kerala.

In a separate development in Mumbai, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat acknowledged that the grievances of Gen Z regarding the education system are genuine. While Bhagwat supported the right to protest as a democratic method to reach consensus, he emphasized that agitation should focus on system correction rather than personal attacks or creating divisions.
