Chekwas Okorie Accuses Governor Soludo of Vendetta Against Peter Obi

Chekwas Okorie accused Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo of using political ties to President Bola Tinubu to launch a personal vendetta against Peter Obi.

Chief Chekwas Okorie, founder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, accused Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo of conducting a "vicious and vile vendetta" against Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, Okorie claimed Soludo is using his political support for President Bola Tinubu as a shield to attack Obi. Okorie attributed these attacks to three specific political grievances: Obi's victory over Soludo in the 2009 governorship election, Soludo's disqualification from the APGA primary in 2013, and the results of the 2023 senatorial primary.

Okorie urged the governor to stop the criticisms and prioritize the governance of Anambra State. He asserted that Obi has continued to show respect and courtesy toward Soludo despite the ongoing attacks.
