Donald Trump Ranks Himself Greatest US President in History

Donald Trump published a social media post ranking himself as the greatest US president in history, placing himself above George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. The rankings, which appear adapted from a 1948 Life magazine article, categorized other presidents into groups ranging from great to failures, with Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, and Joe Biden listed as failures.

Presidential historians and academics strongly dispute the self-assessment. The Presidential Greatness Project recently ranked Trump last among all 45 presidents, and a 2022 Siena University poll ranked him 45th in integrity and intelligence.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended the former president, stating he will be remembered as the most successful and consequential president in modern American history.
