Concerns have also surfaced regarding the motivations behind the deal. Allegations suggest the program is tied to financial interests involving the president and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is reportedly being enriched by Saudi interests.

In separate domestic news, New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill disclosed a registration error that allowed over 6,000 non-U.S. citizens to register to vote in New Jersey. According to the governor, approximately 400 of those individuals cast ballots.
