President Donald Trump is advocating for a Saudi Arabian nuclear enrichment program amid concerns over global proliferation and potential financial conflicts of interest.
Donald Trump is promoting a nuclear enrichment program for Saudi Arabia, a move that has drawn criticism over its implications for global nuclear proliferation. The initiative supports the autocratic kingdom led by Prince Mohammed bin Salman, but critics argue the lack of oversight could allow the development of weapons-grade nuclear material.
Concerns have also surfaced regarding the motivations behind the deal. Allegations suggest the program is tied to financial interests involving the president and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is reportedly being enriched by Saudi interests.
