Johnson & Johnson Lists Medications on TrumpRx Platform

Johnson & Johnson will begin selling four prescription medications through the government-hosted TrumpRx platform and its own direct-to-consumer service, JNJ Direct. The listed medications include the blood thinner Xarelto and diabetes treatments Invokana, Invokamet, and Invokamet XR. TrumpRx, launched in February 2026, serves cash-paying, uninsured, or underinsured patients by directing them to drugmakers' websites for discounted pricing.

This arrangement follows a January agreement where the pharmaceutical company agreed to reduce drug prices and expand Medicaid access in exchange for exemptions from administration tariffs. As part of this broader commitment to domestic production and trade benefits, the company pledged $55 billion for new research and manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Other pharmaceutical firms, including Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, and AstraZeneca, have entered similar agreements to align U.S. drug costs with international prices. The administration recently expanded the TrumpRx catalog from 40 to 80 medications. These efforts to address healthcare affordability are occurring ahead of the November midterm elections.
