Bola Tinubu Seeks Re-election During Nigeria Independence Anniversary

President Bola Tinubu asserted that his administration is correcting the cumulative mistakes and missed opportunities of previous governments during Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary. Speaking through House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas at a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja, Tinubu claimed that peace and development are returning to the country.

Tinubu urged Nigerian citizens not to lose hope, stating that "Nigeria is on the right path; that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that Nigerians have finished making sacrifices for this country to be great again." He requested that the public grant his government more opportunity to finish its work by re-electing him to office.
