Netanyahu Vows to Eradicate Hamas at State Memorial Ceremony

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to destroy Hamas and counter Iranian influence during a state memorial ceremony honoring soldiers killed since the October 7 attacks.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a state memorial ceremony at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem on Monday, marking three years since the October 7 attacks. Netanyahu characterized the ongoing conflict as a War of Redemption, asserting that Israel has shattered an Iranian plan to destroy the state through nuclear threats, missiles, and terrorist proxies. He claimed that Israel has successfully recovered all hostages and established strategic buffer zones in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Syria.

Netanyahu vowed that there would be no forgiveness for those responsible for the massacre and pledged to eradicate the regime of blood established by Hamas. He stated that Israel would continue military operations in Gaza to finish the mission and would maintain strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon to create opportunities for peace. He also highlighted the results of Operation Rising Lion, which targeted Iranian ballistic missile stockpiles and nuclear infrastructure.

The ceremony was interrupted by the father of Tom Godo, who shouted that Netanyahu had failed to protect the victims of October 7 and called the prime minister insolent. Despite the interruption, Netanyahu defended the morality of the Israel Defense Forces and insisted that the conflict is a just war necessary for the security and eternity of Israel.
