Narendra Modi Reviews Haryana Governance and Punjab Election Strategy
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Haryana BJP leaders in New Delhi to review state governance and plan for upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting in New Delhi on Saturday with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, 48 state MLAs, and BJP state president Archana Gupta. The session focused on reviewing governance achievements, pro-people initiatives, and the fulfillment of poll promises within Haryana.
The leadership also discussed organizational strategy for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. This meeting follows a recent organizational reshuffle in which Smriti Irani replaced Satish Poonia as the Bharatiya Janata Party's Haryana in-charge.
Additionally, the group coordinated a response to allegations from the Opposition INDIA Bloc regarding "vote theft" during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. These allegations have targeted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, leading to the detention of Aam Aadmi Party protesters in Delhi and plans for further demonstrations by opposition groups.
