Pezeshkian Urges Muslim States to Block Foreign Aggression

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on Muslim nations to prevent their territories from being used as launchpads for attacks against other Islamic countries.

President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian urged Muslim states to ensure their territories are not used as launchpads for aggression against other Islamic nations. Speaking on state television during the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, Pezeshkian stated that no Islamic country should seek its own security by creating insecurity for its neighbors.

Pezeshkian clarified that defending Iran is not an act of hostility toward neighboring Muslim nations. During his address, he alleged that the United States and Israel launched large-scale military attacks against Iran while diplomatic negotiations between Tehran and Washington were still active.

The conference brings together approximately 600 guests from 40 countries. Events are scheduled to take place through Sunday across several Iranian provinces, including Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad.
