Yotta Invests $2 Billion in Nvidia AI Supercluster in India

Yotta Data Services is investing over $2 billion to establish one of Asia's largest artificial intelligence computing hubs in India. The project centers on the deployment of 20,736 liquid-cooled Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs at a hyperscale data center in Greater Noida, with operations expected to go live by August 2026. This infrastructure will be capable of training trillion-parameter foundation models.

As part of a four-year engagement valued at approximately $1 billion, Nvidia will anchor Asia's first DGX Cloud supercluster within this site, utilizing roughly 10,300 GPUs to serve customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Yotta will allocate the remaining 10,000 GPUs to the IndiaAI Mission to support domestic startups and the development of sovereign AI models. The company intends to scale its total footprint to over 80,000 GPUs by FY27, supported by additional capacity at its Mumbai facility.

To fund this expansion and prepare for a potential initial public offering this year, Yotta aims to raise between $1 billion and $1.2 billion from private equity firms and high-net-worth individuals. Reports indicate that the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala is currently in discussions to invest during this pre-IPO phase.
