Oshiomhole Clarifies Wike Support as APC Mobilizes for Tinubu

Senator Adams Oshiomhole clarified that Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike supports President Bola Tinubu personally rather than the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking on TVC, Oshiomhole noted that while Wike is not a member of the APC and has clashed with some APC governors, both parties remain committed to the president's re-election.

Simultaneously, the APC has begun active mobilization for the 2027 general elections. Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe visited Ibadan to urge party members and support groups in Oyo State to unify and mobilize voters for President Tinubu and other party candidates.

Tegbe highlighted the administration's power sector reforms as a key metric of success to share with grassroots voters, noting that power output has exceeded 5,300MW.
