Donald Trump Schedules Midterm Rallies in Mississippi and Ohio

President Donald Trump has scheduled two campaign rallies in late October to support Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections. He will first headline an event in Corinth, Mississippi, on October 26 to boost the GOP candidate in the U.S. Senate race. This appearance occurs eight days before the election in a state where Trump won by more than 22 percentage points in 2024.

The Republican National Committee announced the Mississippi rally as Democrats attempt to flip four seats to regain control of the Senate. The campaign push comes as Trump's own approval ratings have reached record lows.

Following the Mississippi event, Trump will speak at a midterm rally in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 28. The program in Ohio is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with the president's remarks expected to start at 7 p.m.
