Turkey Accuses Netanyahu of Pursuing Conflict Over Peace

The Government of Turkey issued a formal statement accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of pursuing a militarist and expansionist agenda following recent Israeli military strikes in the Gaza Strip. Ankara alleged that the Israeli government is intentionally obstructing international mediation efforts, specifically those led by the United States, to prevent the establishment of regional stability.

Turkish officials claimed that the primary objective of the Israeli leadership is to displace Palestinians from their homeland. The Foreign Ministry warned that this approach threatens to transform the entire Middle East into a zone of conflict.

In response, Israel defended its military operations as necessary measures to dismantle Hamas. The Israeli government argued that Hamas remains responsible for the continuation of the war by rejecting various proposals for a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
