Ukraine Drone Strikes Paralyze Russian Grain Exports

Ukraine launched a strategic campaign against Russian retail logistics and grain ports, prompting a state of emergency in the Rostov region.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has executed a strategic campaign targeting Russian retail logistics and grain exports, resulting in billions of dollars in damages. Recent drone strikes hit warehouses belonging to Chizhik, DNS, and Okon in the Rostov region, while previous attacks on Wildberries severely impacted the company's valuation. These operations have paralyzed over 80% of Russian grain export capacity on the Sea of Azov, driving exports to a 16-year low.

In response to the disruption, the Rostov region declared a state of emergency on Friday. Simultaneously, Russia has increased missile strikes on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure as Western officials report Moscow is losing approximately 6,000 more troops monthly than it can recruit.

Diplomatic activity intensified this week as CIA Director John Ratcliffe made an unannounced visit to Moscow on Tuesday. Ratcliffe warned Russia about hybrid warfare and presented intelligence regarding Moscow's military and economic instability. President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the Trump Administration's realistic vision for ending the invasion following these meetings.
