AIPAC Condemns Provisional US-Iran Nuclear Roadmap
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee condemned a provisional nuclear agreement between the Trump administration and Iran, demanding total dismantlement of Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee condemned the Islamabad MoU, a provisional nuclear roadmap brokered between the administration of Donald Trump and Iran. The lobbying group warned that the current framework provides sanctions relief in exchange for opening the Strait of Hormuz but offers only vague commitments regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
AIPAC urged the U.S. Congress to maintain robust oversight of the 60-day technical negotiations scheduled to occur in Switzerland. The organization stated that any final treaty must ensure the total dismantlement of nuclear infrastructure, the removal of all enriched uranium, and the destruction of Iran's navy and ballistic missile arsenal.
