Political leaders in Ekiti and Benue states have launched grassroots campaigns and pledged one million votes to support President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.
Political leaders in Ekiti and Benue states are organizing early support for the 2027 re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In Abuja, former PDP governorship candidate Wole Oluyede presented a strategic mobilization framework to the president at the Presidential Villa. Oluyede launched the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda (OPARHA), a grassroots platform intended to build a broad coalition across community groups and political parties to secure an overwhelming mandate.
In Benue State, Deputy Governor Samuel Ode pledged that the state would deliver one million votes for the president. During a tour of infrastructure projects in Makurdi, including a new High-Level Interchange, Ode credited the current administration's federation account allocations for the state's development. He stated that Governor Father Hyacinth Alia will lead the state's Executive Council and citizens to fulfill this electoral promise.
