Donald Trump Renames Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence

Speaking at the launch of the America.gov website in Washington, D.C., Trump argued that the term artificial is inaccurate because the technology is "very powerful" and "very brilliant."

Trump compared the potential impact of super intelligence to the Industrial Revolution and the internet, stating it could be larger than both. He advocated for unrestricted growth to ensure the United States maintains a competitive lead over China, asserting that the government must not stifle technology that could be more significant than the Industrial Revolution.

While promoting the expansion of the technology, Trump emphasized the necessity of accountability. He stated that the Department of Justice and the FBI should oversee super intelligence to prevent illegal or dangerous applications.
