Canada Faces Diplomatic Tension Over US Border and DEA Expansion

Tensions between Canada and the United States have intensified following a series of diplomatic and security disputes. In late May 2026, Canadian authorities permitted an Air France flight from Paris to land in Montreal after U.S. officials refused the aircraft entry into Detroit.
