Anthony Constantino Wins New York's 21st Congressional District Seat

Republican Anthony Constantino defeated Democrat Blake Gendebien to win New York's 21st Congressional District seat after spending $17 million of his own money.

Republican Anthony Constantino, CEO of Sticker Mule, declared victory in the race for New York's 21st Congressional District on November 4, 2026. Unofficial results show Constantino receiving 139,786 votes (51.3%) to Blake Gendebien's 133,708. Constantino will succeed six-term Republican Representative Elise Stefanik, who chose not to seek re-election.

Constantino spent $17 million of his own funds on the campaign and aligned himself closely with President Donald Trump, whose endorsement helped him secure the seat. His campaign was characterized by a pugnacious style and personal attacks. During a victory speech in Amsterdam, Constantino insulted the media and Gendebien's voters, while also announcing plans to petition President Trump to pardon the rapper Diddy.

Democratic nominee Blake Gendebien, an Ogdensburg farmer, ran a more cautious campaign and had led in an October 9 Siena Research Institute poll. Following the unofficial results, Gendebien stopped short of a formal concession, noting that some votes remained to be counted. The race occurred as Democrats sought to flip House seats to gain control of the chamber, a goal they achieved on Tuesday despite Constantino's win in this district.
