Mossad Chief Coordinates Iran Strategy With CIA in Washington

Roman Gofman met with CIA Director John Ratcliffe and White House officials to coordinate U.S. and Israeli responses to Iran's nuclear program.

Mossad head Roman Gofman traveled to Washington, D.C., two weeks ago for high-level consultations with CIA Director John Ratcliffe and senior White House officials. The meetings focused on coordinating the responses of the United States and Israel to the conflict with Iran and the ongoing development of the Iranian nuclear program.

During these discussions, John Ratcliffe expressed pessimism regarding the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Iran. He suggested that Iranian interpretations of the agreement would differ from those held by the United States.

Parallel to these diplomatic efforts, an Israeli delegation visited the U.S. to persuade former President Donald Trump to authorize a strike on a location identified as Pickaxe Mount.
