Israeli Forces Kill 13-Year-Old Girl Amid Gaza Military Operations

Israeli forces killed a 13-year-old Palestinian girl in Khan Younis as military strikes continue despite a 2025 ceasefire and a U.S.-led disarmament deal.

A 13-year-old Palestinian girl, Saba Naim Abdullah al-Hashash, died on Monday from a gunshot wound to the head delivered by Israeli forces on Saturday in the al-Mawasi tent camp near Khan Younis. Her death coincides with continued Israeli military operations, including naval strikes in Gaza City, artillery shelling, and tank fire in Jabalia and Khan Younis.

These operations persist despite a ceasefire established on October 10, 2025, and a disarmament deal for Hamas facilitated by the United States. The Ministry of Health of Gaza reports that Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,258 Palestinians and wounded more than 4,100 people since the 2025 ceasefire took effect.

While the Trump administration observed a decrease in attacks starting August 3, 2026, it has expressed no concern regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's public rejection of the disarmament agreement.
