President Bola Tinubu Expresses Faith in 2027 Re-election Bid

President Bola Tinubu expressed his belief that divine will determines leadership and his prospects for re-election during an Umrah pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Speaking with journalists, the president stated his faith that God would guide the outcome of the upcoming presidential election.

Abdulaziz Yari, Director General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, outlined a three-part strategy to secure the president's victory. Yari identified the president's faith in God, his performance record, and active grassroots campaigning as the primary factors that will convince Nigerian voters to support a second term.

While emphasizing the importance of showcasing the administration's achievements to the electorate, Yari reaffirmed that the ultimate outcome of the election depends on divine will. The campaign council committed to active outreach to ensure the electorate is convinced of the government's progress ahead of the January vote.
