Russian Forces Advance Toward Strategic Town of Druzhkivka

Russian forces are advancing toward the eastern Ukrainian town of Druzhkivka, currently positioned approximately 15 kilometers from the settlement. The town sits along a strategic fortress belt of urban settlements and has suffered extensive destruction of markets, shops, and apartment blocks from drone and artillery strikes.

This offensive is part of a broader effort by Vladimir Putin and the Russian military to seize the Donbas region in its entirety. Despite the prevalence of unmanned aerial vehicles and the ongoing devastation, some civilians remain in the town.

Ukrainian forces continue to defend the area. To maintain their positions and support troops, they are utilizing unmanned ground vehicles for medical evacuations and logistics.
