Abba Abubakar Launches Two-Million-Man March for Tinubu Re-election

Alhaji Abba Abubakar launched the Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation and pledged a nationwide mobilisation march to secure President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election.

Alhaji Abba Abubakar, the son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, unveiled a nationwide mobilisation plan on October 30, 2026, to secure the 2027 re-election of President Bola Tinubu. Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja, Abubakar launched the Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation (HBTO), a political support platform dedicated to the president's victory.

The strategy centers on a two-million-man mobilisation march across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones, beginning in the Federal Capital Territory. Abubakar specifically targeted the delivery of the Federal Capital Territory and Rivers State for the president, with a major event scheduled for Rivers in early November. To support the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda, the HBTO is donating ten luxury buses in the FCT to ease commuting burdens for citizens.

Abubakar, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the APC in January, described his leadership of the organisation as a personal political choice based on his assessment of the president's economic reforms. This alignment creates a public political contrast with his father, Atiku Abubakar, who is the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress for the 2027 elections.
