Education Department Deletes Video Comparing Trump to Hitler

The United States Department of Education deleted a 19-second video from its official X account on Wednesday following widespread backlash. The post featured a clip from the 2017 film Darkest Hour, in which Winston Churchill says, "You cannot reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth," while discussing the threat of Nazi Germany.

The video then transitioned to footage of Donald Trump raising his fist and pointing, set to the song "WE GO ON" by rapper BIA and the caption, "No one does it like us." Critics on the platform argued the juxtaposition deliberately associated the president with the tiger, which served as a reference to Adolf Hitler in the context of the film.

Although the department removed the post, screenshots of the video continued to circulate online.
