Nigerian Leaders Launch Mobilization for Tinubu 2027 Re-election

Political leaders and government officials in Nigeria have initiated coordinated mobilization efforts to support the re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election. These efforts are targeting key regional strongholds in both the Southwest and Northern Nigeria to ensure national stability and policy continuity.

In Abeokuta, grassroots leader Segun Sowunmi urged Yoruba voters in the Southwest to provide strong electoral support. Sowunmi directed supporters to begin mobilization at the polling-unit level, arguing that the victory belongs to the president based on the principle of the pendulum.

Meanwhile, in Katsina, Minister of Housing and Urban Development Muttaqha Darma inaugurated the Arewa for Asiwaju group. As chairman of the group's Katsina State Coordination Committee, Darma stated the organization will document and communicate federal government achievements across Northern Nigeria to secure votes. Darma described the support for the president in 2027 as non-negotiable.
