Nvidia Invests in AI Video Startup Higgsfield
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed an investment in Higgsfield, an AI video-generation startup now valued at $5.4 billion.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed on October 23 that the company has invested in Higgsfield, an AI video-generation startup. The investment extends a $400 million funding round from August that was led by DST Global and included Intel Capital, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Tribe Capital, and TCV.
During a visit to Astana, Huang praised founders Yerzat Dulat and Alex Mashrabov, stating that Nvidia invests in people rather than companies. He noted that the founders had a wonderful idea that is not easy to execute.
Higgsfield maintains a significant engineering presence in Kazakhstan and has seen its valuation more than quadruple in six months to $5.4 billion. This growth is driven by high demand for AI-generated content in marketing and media. The startup currently reports a global user base of over 30 million and annualized revenue of $700 million.
