David Hoeller and Nikita Rudin, who founded the Zurich-based Flexion Robotics in 2024, recall Huang criticizing their original company name, Checkpoint, and warning them about the inherent difficulties of entrepreneurship. Despite the blunt feedback, Nvidia invested in Flexion, which has since raised over $57 million and expanded its operations into San Francisco.
