APC Announces Issue-Based Strategy for 2027 Presidential Campaign
Betta Edu announced the All Progressives Congress will base its 2027 presidential campaign on the administration's economic and infrastructure records.
Betta Edu, Director of Women Mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, announced in Abuja that the party's 2027 presidential campaign will be issue-based. The strategy focuses on the governance record of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, specifically highlighting infrastructure projects, economic reforms, and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as measurable results for voters.
Edu stated that the party intends to shift away from traditional rallies in favor of sustained grassroots engagement and political education. She described the reforms as demanding but noted that "now is time for prosperity."
As part of the mobilization effort, Edu emphasized the influence of women within community and family structures. She urged APC women to remain united to communicate the administration's achievements to both urban and rural voters to secure a second mandate for the president.
