Donald Trump Bans Press and Targets Iranian Nuclear Program

Donald Trump banned several news networks from the White House, granting access only to Chinese networks. He claimed that the installation of a new White House ballroom and a triumphal arch equipped with drone launchers and snipers would improve national security.

During his second term, the president ordered the military to target the nuclear development program of Iran on two separate occasions. While Trump claimed victory on the first day of the operation, the conflict has persisted for seven months. The campaign has resulted in 18 U.S. military deaths and over 800 wounded personnel, alongside thousands of Iranian civilian casualties.

The prolonged conflict has depleted U.S. strategic oil reserves and missile arsenals, caused significant damage to military bases, and closed two strategic shipping routes. These disruptions have weakened the U.S. economy and hindered global commerce. Despite these outcomes, the Republican-controlled United States Congress has not held the president accountable.
