Donald Trump Attacks Fox News During Midterm Coverage
President Donald Trump criticized Fox News polling and pundit Jessica Tarlov on Truth Social while watching midterm election results on Tuesday.
Donald Trump attacked Fox News on Truth Social and via text message while watching midterm election coverage on Tuesday. The president announced he was switching channels because he could not stand the voice of liberal pundit Jessica Tarlov, whom he called "DUMB AS A ROCK" and a "LOSER."
Trump later returned to the network but continued his criticism, claiming the Fox News Poll is "the worst" and a "hit job." He asserted that the network's ratings are collapsing because it is "AGAINST" him and covers "Trump Deranged Dumocrats." He also accused the parent company of Fox News of donating to Democratic politicians.
During a broadcast of "The Five," host Greg Gutfeld read a text from Trump instructing him to tell Tarlov she is "the worst" and to argue that gas prices are lower than they were under former presidents Biden and Obama. Despite the public friction with the network, former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated the president remains "cautiously optimistic" regarding the election results.
