Democrats Susie Lee and Tom Suozzi Win House Reelections

Democratic Representatives Susie Lee and Tom Suozzi won reelection to their respective House seats in Nevada and New York, defeating Trump-endorsed Republican challengers.

Democratic Representatives Susie Lee and Tom Suozzi secured reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives on November 4, 2026, winning competitive districts that had previously supported Donald Trump in 2024.

In Nevada's 3rd Congressional District, Lee defeated Republican challenger Marty O’Donnell, a retired video game composer. The Associated Press called the race at 4:04 a.m. EST, with Lee receiving 60.1% of the vote to O’Donnell’s 37.8% with 65% of ballots counted. Lee, a moderate first elected in 2018, campaigned against Trump's proposals to eliminate the Department of Education. O’Donnell ran with Trump's endorsement, though the Safety and Affordability PAC canceled $1 million in planned television ads shortly before the vote.

In New York's 3rd Congressional District, Suozzi defeated Republican challenger Michael LiPetri, a lawyer and former state Assemblyman. The Associated Press declared Suozzi the winner at 2:04 p.m. EST. Suozzi won the Long Island seat despite Trump having carried the district by 4 points in the 2024 presidential election.
