Donald Trump Attacks Democrats in Final Midterm Campaign Speech
President Donald Trump delivered a closing midterm speech in Washington, D.C., accusing Democratic candidates of being extreme while citing economic and diplomatic achievements.
President Donald Trump delivered a closing midterm election message at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., shortly before polls opened on Monday. He characterized the upcoming elections as the most important of his lifetime, asserting that a strong turnout from the MAGA coalition would secure a landslide victory for Republicans.
Trump attacked Democratic candidates as the most extreme and dangerous in American history, accusing them of pursuing a radical agenda involving open borders and tax increases. He specifically labeled some candidates as "communist jihadists" and "Muslim Brotherhood members," targeting Democratic nominee Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan by claiming El-Sayed associates with preachers who call the U.S. the "House of Satan."
Contrasting these claims with his administration's record, Trump cited record-low poverty rates and the success of the "One Big Beautiful Bill," which eliminated taxes on tips, overtime, and certain Social Security benefits. He also took credit for a nearly $10 drop in oil prices, linking the decline to negotiations with Iran. While Trump claimed the U.S. "won" its conflict with Iran, he informed a White House pool reporter that he would not launch military strikes against the country after the elections.
