Orji Uzor Kalu Says Tinubu Faces No 2027 Competition

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of the Abia North Senatorial District stated on Wednesday that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu faces no serious competition for the 2027 presidential election. Speaking on the Channels Television program Talking Politics, Kalu described the current opposition as too weak to stop the ruling All Progressives Congress, though he admitted a united opposition coalition could potentially create challenges for the party.

Kalu attributed the President's strong position to administration achievements that he believes have not been sufficiently communicated to the public. He expressed confidence that members of the All Progressives Congress will campaign vigorously to secure another term, asserting that the President cannot lose.
