This shift in public sentiment has contributed to Donald Trump seeing his approval rating hit a record low of 33%, the lowest point of either his first or second term. The survey of 1,215 US adults indicates a growing pessimism regarding the duration of the conflict, with 83% of Americans believing the war will continue for an extended period, up from 80% earlier in the month.
