Arizona held primary elections on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with Republicans focusing on flipping the governorship held by Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs. To expedite the count, election officials implemented a new identity verification process at polling place desks to bypass post-election signature comparisons for voters who chose not to use drop boxes.
