Speaker Abbas Urges Fact-Based Campaign for Tinubu 2027 Bid
Speaker Abbas Tajudeen urged the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to use performance statistics to mobilize 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election.
Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen urged the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to base its campaign for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election on performance statistics and factual data. During a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, Tajudeen argued that continuity is essential to avoid reversing the modest gains and policies implemented since 2023.
He stated that a campaign guided by facts, wisdom, and maturity would facilitate securing over 10 million votes for the All Progressives Congress candidate. The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo and led by National Coordinator Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, aims to mobilize at least 10 million votes independently of the official party machinery.
Asuku characterized President Tinubu as a leader confronting national fears and sought the mentorship of the House of Representatives to support the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
