Reform UK Polls Drop as Nigel Farage Faces Financial Scrutiny

A new Lord Ashcroft opinion poll shows Reform UK has fallen to third place with 18% support, a 3-point decrease from the previous month. The Labour Party currently leads with 27% support, followed by the Conservatives at 23%. This shift in momentum coincides with a surge in popularity for Prime Minister Andy Burnham and improved performance by Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.

The decline for Reform UK comes as the party and its leader, Nigel Farage, face scrutiny over financial arrangements involving a £5 million undeclared gift from Christopher Harborne. Farage is currently contesting a by-election in Clacton this Thursday after resigning his seat to trigger the vote. Other major political parties have boycotted the contest, describing the move as a stunt.

If re-elected to Parliament, Farage faces the resumption of a parliamentary standards investigation into his financial disclosures.
