BJP Organizes Nationwide Events for Narendra Modi's 76th Birthday

The Bharatiya Janata Party and various state governments organized widespread Ashirwad Ka Diya programs on September 18 to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday and 25 years of public service. These events are part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a month-long community service campaign running from September 17 to October 17 that includes blood donation camps and the 25 Years-25 Minutes project.

In Odisha, approximately one crore diyas were lit across 30 districts. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led a ceremony at the Mukteswar Temple, stating that the lamp symbolizes the affection and respect for the Prime Minister's journey in nation-building. In Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, party workers lit 108 ceremonial lamps at the state headquarters.

Bhubaneswar became a center for record-breaking activity as the BJP Yuva Morcha collected 8,810 units of blood in a single day at one venue, an achievement recognized by the World Book of Records. Additionally, 40,000 tribal students from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences participated in prayers and blood donations, an event attended by Mohan Charan Majhi.
