Donald Trump Launches Multi-State Rally Tour for Midterms
President Donald Trump is conducting a 32-day rally series with scheduled campaign stops in New York and Ohio to support Republican candidates.
Donald Trump is conducting a 32-day rally series across several states, including Iowa, Florida, Alaska, and Nebraska, to generate support for Republican candidates ahead of the November midterm elections.
As part of this tour, the president will visit Syracuse, New York, on Friday, October 9. He is scheduled to appear with Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County executive and Republican candidate for governor. This visit follows a recent tour of Upstate New York by Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who visited Syracuse on September 28 to promote an initiative targeting inactive Democratic voters.
On Saturday, the president will travel to Vandalia, Ohio, to campaign for gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Senate candidate Jon Husted. The Ohio stop comes as a Marist poll shows Democratic candidate Sherrod Brown leading Husted by 8 points. Despite Trump's history of winning the state three times, reports indicate that 56% of Ohio voters strongly disapprove of his job performance.
