Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz fell to six vessels on August 11, dropping below the 10-day average of approximately 11 ships. This decline follows the collapse of a preliminary peace deal signed in June, which sought to end a conflict that began in February. In contrast, traffic through the Bab el-Mandeb strait remained stable with 25 vessels transiting.
