The City Boy Movement inaugurated executive councils in Oyo State to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.
The City Boy Movement launched a grassroots mobilization campaign in Oyo State to secure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and support All Progressives Congress candidates in the 2027 general elections. During the inauguration of its state and local government executive councils in Ibadan on Monday, the movement unveiled a strategy to strengthen political networks across 33 local government areas.
Movement representative Olumide Alli argued that the Tinubu administration deserves another term based on its economic performance and the completion of projects inherited from previous administrations. He stated that Nigerians should allow the president to continue in office to maintain the progress started in 2023.
Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, the Oyo State APC Chairman, urged the movement to leverage the high population of young voters to improve the party's electoral prospects. He emphasized that the quality of the party's candidates must be paired with unity and teamwork to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
